About me
Andy Brogan
BA (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy
Hi, I’m Andy, a counsellor and psychotherapist with a practice based in Stoneybatter. I offer both in-person and online sessions for adults over the age of 18. At the heart of my work is a deep belief in every person’s innate tendency towards growth. I believe in a person-centred approach and hold this at the core of my practice, grounded in the understanding that, with the right conditions we can begin to move towards positive change, healing, and self-discovery.
While my work is often guided by an attachment-based lens to help explore how early experiences may shape present-day patterns, my approach to psychotherapy is more generally humanistic, integrative and flexible, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities based on what best supports you, in the present moment.
I’ve been in practice for over two years, supporting clients through a wide variety of challenges, including:
• Anxiety, depression & stress
• Chronic pain & health-related issues
• Addiction & recovery
• Identity & existential concerns
• Anger & conflict resolution
• Low self-esteem & confidence
• Life transitions & spiritual exploration
• Bereavement, grief & trauma
• OCD, bipolar & borderline personality disorder
My aim is to offer a space that’s open, non-judgemental and welcoming, where you feel genuinely heard, seen, and supported. I understand that seeking therapy can be daunting, and I try to make the process feel as approachable and grounded as possible. Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or intimidating, it can be an inviting, meaningful, collaborative space where you can speak openly and honestly about what’s going on for you.
If you'd like to explore working together, feel free to get in touch to arrange a first session — whether in person in Stoneybatter, or online.
